I first heard the song Momma’s Boy on NBC’s Chuck (yes I admit to watching that show), and since then I’ve had a small soft spot for this electro-funk / 80’s throwback duo.
A friend’s response when she first heard “Don’t Turn the Lights On”:

Better known as the glimmering electronic sample used for Coldplay’s “Life in Technicolor” and “The Escapist.” I didn’t realize this was a full song on its own until stumbling across it earlier today, and now I’ve been listening to it on repeat all afternoon.
Hmm…. makes me like the Coldplay track just a little bit less… Only because this is so much cooler.
